Kerry/Edwards 2004 Campaign - Earned Media System

SITUATION:
The John Kerry for President Campaign wanted the ability to quickly, efficiently and cost-effectively get their message out to the most persuadable voters as often and as credibly as possible. The campaign needed the ability to deliver its message via the mediums voters trust most- local television news and radio.

APPROACH:
QRS used its expertise to bring the technology, personnel and systems to the Kerry/Edwards campaign Headquarters. With a team of production and booking staff, QRS provided a complete satellite television and radio booking operation inside the Kerry/Edwards National Campaign Headquarters. By building both a radio studio and a television studio for live shots, QRS gave campaign surrogates and spokespeople the ability to get the message on the air in the markets that mattered most, without the leaving campaign headquarters in DC.

RESULT:
Between June and November of 2004 QRS completed more than 195 satellite media tours, uplinked more than 50 events, conducted more than 500 talk radio tours and fed more than 70 radio actualities -guaranteeing the campaign message delivery in over 193 media markets.
